Reisjärvi and the surrounding area have active hunting clubs that keep this valuable cultural heritage alive. Reisjärven Eräveljet, Kalajanjoen Metsästysseura and Kangaskylän metsästysseura Repo give their members the chance to take part in hunting and learn to hunt responsibly. The clubs' activities aren't limited to hunting – they also organise volunteer work days, training and shared events that emphasise respect for nature and community spirit.
Hunting isn't just about the catch – it's a complete experience in the heart of nature. It teaches patience and responsibility and offers a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hunting tradition is alive and well in the Reisjärvi area, and it welcomes experienced hunters and newcomers alike.
