From Pihtiputaantie, which runs past the centre of Reisjärvi, it's easy to pop over to the Salmensuu beach to refresh yourself and relax.
The area has a swimming beach, a jetty and a changing hut. For meals, there is a barbecue shelter and a picnic spot on the Salmensuu shore. Salmensuu also has a ramp for launching boats.
The Salmensuu park area lies at the Reisjärvi end of the strait that connects Lake Reisjärvi and Lake Vuohtojärvi.
